HISTORY

          OLIMP LABORATORIES was founded in 1990, and its core business was the production of dietetic products. Currently, we are a manufacturer of a wide range of dietary foodstuffs, functional food offered in various forms, i.e. in the forms of powdered concentrates for dissolution, tablets, capsules, and ready-made drinks. Taking into account the product line, taste, and unit weight options, our offer includes over 160 items. A major branch of production is sports formulas and supplements, so-called allowed exercise support agents. We base our products on such valuable-for-health nutrients as L-carnitine, creatine, glutamine, lecithin, taurine, hydroxy-methylbutyrate, albumin amino acids, albumin hydrolysates, collagen hydrolysates, soy hydrolysates, and freeze-dried whey.
We particularly appreciate the fact that our product gain approval of consumers and recognition of domestic and international specialists. This is confirmed by the awards we have received: L-Karnityna i L-Karnityna Plus were considered ones of the best carnitine products in the world and were honoured with the international goods quality label L-carnipure; L-karnityna and Osteoblock received a honorary award at the cyclical "Drug in Poland" fairs; drinks Izo Plus and Techno Power were honoured within the framework of the FOODTARG fairs in Katowice.
Market environment and development assumptions for the company have led to a clear separation of two directions of product manufacturing and distribution - sports and pharmaceutical ones. For this reason, OLIMP LABORATORIES has separated and registered two trademarks: OLIMP - OLIMP Sport Nutrition and OLIMP aktywność zdrowie uroda (OLIMP activity health beauty). The first trademark is used for the products whose basic indication is supporting sports exercise. The second is used for such products whose main indication remains active health prophylaxis.

Anticipating the market demand for functional drinks, the company launched in 1999 the production of highest-quality drinks:

• isotonic drinks - OLIMP IZO PLUS Sport Drink
• weight loss supporting drinks - OLIMP KARNITYNA Drink
• OLIMP LABORATORIES has been granted many awards and honorary awards, including:

• "Podkarpacka Nagroda Gospodarcza" 2001 - the award is granted to companies in the Podkarpackie Voivodship
   which achieved an economic success in the Polish and foreign markets. Six winners were selected out of
   90 businesses.
• Award in the competition "Polski sukces" ("Polish Success") 2002 - this is a pan-Polish competition promoting Polish economic success companies, under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Economy, Labour, and Welfare of the Republic of Poland. The promotional programme implemented by the competition, featured within the framework of the widely understood "promotion of goodness", aims to show the best enterprises and their business career resulting from their own activities.
The Company has implemented a food health safety system and has obtained the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certificate for consistency with the DS.3027 E:1997 standard. This guarantees the highest quality and health safety of our products.
The currently implemented investment programme assumes that our company will obtain a status of a pharmaceutical manufacturer and will extend its production by a group of medicines.
